The Walla Walla Valley Concert Band will be performing in Pioneer Park on the 4th of July 2022. This is a free concert sponsored by the Walla Walla Union Bulletin  The concert will run about an hour and will include classic marches and patriotic songs, lots of familiar tunes, a salute to our armed services and veterans, and, of course, America’s own march, The Stars and Stripes Forever!  We hope you can join us.

30th Anniversary Celebration Year

In 2020, the Walla Walla Valley Bands turns 30. We celebrate the many musicians who have played with us and those who have served as Conductors and dedicated board members. We are a thriving group because of the commitment and enthusiasm of our members and conductors to bring performances of high-quality band literature to the greater community.

As musicians, we also celebrate the added richness brought to our lives by participating in an organization that allows us to play music with others and stretch our skills and understanding.  Everybody benefits by the existence of the bands!

Walla Walla Valley Bands is the largest community band in eastern Washington and one of the largest in the state. We got this way because of the universal joy in music we are able to share, because of the vision of our Conductors, and – not least – because of the generosity of the community in supporting our programs.

Thank you for the first thirty years. We fully intend to make it another thirty.  With a strong core of musicians and a capable and energized board we look forward to a celebratory year of great music.
